Balloons as Wedding Releases

Balloons are becoming an increasingly popular wedding decoration for a variety of reasons. One of the primary reasons is that they are inexpensive and they are extremely versatile.

But decorating on the cheap does not mean that you can't make the decoration a unique aspect of the wedding itself. You can use balloons for table tops, arches, dance décor, and so much more. The possibilities are endless. And if you have a good imagination, these possibilities can be very elegantly done as well.

One popular trend happening in weddings today is the releasing of balloons as a means of wishing the happy couple well. This is one way to add unique touches to your wedding. And this is another method you can use to instill some creativity into your wedding plans.

A popular tradition that people have started using is to attach postcards to the balloons that you want your guests to release. Ask them to write out some marriage advice on the postcard before they release it. See how many you actually get back!

Or put questions about you and your beloved on notes in the balloons and release them in the reception hall in an area where they will pop. When the notes fall out, tell your guests the happy couple will kiss if the person can answer the questions on the notes. Hint: make the questions really easy since the kissing component is such a cute part of every reception.

There is some controversy about whether or not the releasing of balloons is environmentally sound, but if you incorporate cute elements into the tradition, you are using the balloons wisely. If you are very concerned about it, consider looking online for some recycled balloons.
